Embora não seja um mês recheado de grandes lançamentos, alguns jogos que chegam ao mercado em agosto prometem entregar ótimas experiências, como é o caso de Psychonauts 2, o novo jogo de Tim Schafer, e 12 Minutes. Destacamos também o jogo brasileiro Dodgeball Academia, desenvolvido pelo estúdio paulistano Pocket Trap.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Foreclosed, Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator, King's Bounty II, No More Heroes III e Yuoni são outros títulos para ficar de olho.
